Dear Church family,
On Friday, we learned of a family within CVCS being diagnosed positive for COVID 19. This family also participates in our children’s ministry on Wednesday. As a result of this diagnosis, the leadership and I have decided to cancel all children’s ministry for Sunday services and Wednesday. Also, we will cancel Sunday school for all ages. Many of our families and volunteers have been exposed and are required to shut down for the next 48 hours. This will make it impossible for us to staff all the ministries for Sunday services fully.
To mitigate the potential spread of the virus, we are taking these steps to protect God’s people and make sure that they are safe and healthy. Your health and safety is a top priority to the Elders and me. We also want you to know that we are taking extra steps to sanitize all touchpoints in buildings one and two. We feel very confident our morning services at 8 am, and 10:30 am will be safe and clean. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at msanders@theopendoorchurchpa.com.
